Who it's for

Six roles. One platform. Everyone better off.

iMV is built for the people who actually run school volunteer programs — and the families they serve. Every role gets exactly what it needs, nothing it doesn't.

Volunteer Families

Parents, guardians, and engaged family members who keep the school's volunteer ecosystem alive.

  • One dashboard for every kid's classroom, sport, and committee
  • Track hours and donations automatically — see your family's progress against the school's goal
  • Sign up for events with one tap, get reminders before each shift
  • Family-level privacy: you see your family; other families don't see yours

Teachers & Classroom Leads

Educators who manage classroom rosters, supply lists, and the room-parent relationships that make a classroom run.

  • Approve classroom enrollment for new families
  • Manage the room parent application and assignment flow
  • Maintain supply lists and track who's pledged what
  • Communicate with classroom families without giving up your personal email

Coordinators

PTA chairs, fundraising leads, committee chairs — the people running specific programs.

  • Operational dashboard surfaces your most urgent action items first
  • Post events with named positions, capacity limits, background-check requirements
  • Text opted-in volunteers directly when you need help fast
  • Search volunteers by skill — photographer, first aid certified, bilingual

Coaches

Athletic coaches running rosters, practices, game schedules, and parent communication for their team.

  • Team roster with parent contact info and emergency details
  • Game and practice schedules visible to families
  • Team-only communication channel separate from school-wide announcements
  • Volunteer fill for game-day positions (concessions, scorekeeping, etc.)

Room Parents

Classroom-level coordinators who keep parents informed and rally help for specific moments.

  • Classroom-scoped messaging — your families only, not school-wide
  • Simple sign-up for class events, parties, and field-trip support
  • Supply list tracking — see who's pledged what at a glance
  • No overwhelm: see only what your classroom needs

Board members, principals, and school administrators with school-wide visibility.

  • Full school-wide visibility — hours, events, donations, compliance, participation
  • Complete audit log of administrative actions
  • Reports on hour fulfillment, donation totals, participation rates, and at-risk families
  • Background check compliance dashboard

How families and roles connect

iMV is built around the way schools actually organize. Three concepts hold it all together:

Organizations

Every part of the school — classrooms, sports teams, committees, fundraising events — is an 'organization' in iMV. Organizations can be grouped into umbrellas (athletics, by grade, etc.) to mirror your school's structure.

Enrollments

Families enroll their children in the organizations they participate in: a third-grade classroom, the soccer team, the spring musical. Enrollments drive everything else — visibility, messaging, sign-up scope.

Handoffs

When a coordinator steps down, the role (and its responsibilities) hands off to the next person — with a checklist that ensures nothing falls through the cracks during transition.
