Is there a free trial?
Yes — every school starts with a 60-day free pilot. No credit card required. Full platform access from day one. At day 61, your account converts to a paid plan or deactivates — your data stays safe either way.
What does "per school" mean exactly?
One subscription covers one school — unlimited families, unlimited organizations, unlimited events. Your school's data is completely isolated from every other school. No shared data, no cross-contamination, ever.
Why is there only one plan?
Because every school deserves the full product. We don't believe in locking important features behind higher tiers. You get everything from day one — the only decision is monthly vs. annual billing.
Do you offer discounts for Catholic schools or nonprofits?
Yes — we work with Catholic schools, independent nonprofits, and budget-constrained schools on a case-by-case basis. Call us at (571) 570-6817 or reach out via our contact page and we'll discuss your situation directly.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You own your data. Upon cancellation, we provide a full export of all your records in CSV format. Data is retained for 60 days after cancellation, then securely deleted per our data retention policy.
Is iManageVolunteers FERPA compliant?
Yes. Our architecture is built from the ground up with school data privacy in mind. We do not share student or family data with any third party. Enterprise contracts include a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Our Story

Born from a
real problem in
a real school.

iManageVolunteers wasn't built in a boardroom. It was built by someone who led a Parent Teacher Organization for years — someone who cycled through platform after platform, watched administrators burn out on workarounds, and saw good volunteers walk away because the tools made participation harder than it needed to be. After years of asking why nothing quite worked, the answer became clear: because nothing had been built specifically for this. So we built it.

The Origin

We lived the problem
before we built the solution.

Volunteer coordination at a K–12 school is a full-time job disguised as a volunteer role. The people who take it on — PTO presidents, volunteer coordinators, room parents — do it because they love their school communities. They shouldn't have to spend half their weekends reconciling spreadsheets.

The frustration is universal. Tracking which families have met their volunteer hours. Logging donations and converting them to credits. Figuring out which parent signed up for which shift. It all happens in a tangle of Google Sheets, reply-all email threads, and paper clipboards that get rained on at outdoor events.

iManageVolunteers was built to solve all of it — specifically and intentionally for the K–12 school context. Not adapted from a generic event management tool. Not repurposed from a nonprofit donor database. Built from scratch, with the exact workflows that schools use, for the exact people who run them.

We're based in Reston, Virginia, and we're proud to be building this in the community we serve. Our mission is simple: give every school — public or private, large or small, PTO or diocese — the volunteer management infrastructure that used to only exist at the largest, best-funded institutions.
